The Long Walk (TBA)

This dystopian thriller has a simple, yet brutal concept for the unlucky young men participating in a fatal competition…walk, or die. Ogologo Ogologo has the potential to be one deadly test of endurance for the characters and the audience. King apparently wrote the novel before his rise to fame, and that led to it being one of his more underrated tales. This film has finally emerged from development hell, and we can’t wait to see what they do with it.

The Tommyknockers (TBA)

mgbe Ndị Tommyknockers may not be one of King’s strongest novels (nor was it a strong miniseries), having James Wan and Roy Lee producing the upcoming adaptation could definitely help. Stephen King himself isn’t even a fan of the novel, but he said in a Ajụjụ ọnụ Rolling Stone, "The book is about 700 pages long, and I’m thinking, ‘There’s probably a good 350-page novel in there.'” Perhaps the new film can trim the fat, and bring the 350 page winner to the screen.

The Outsider (TBA)

Stephen King’s novel Ndị Outs has only been out for a few months, and it already has a 10-part limited series reportedly in the works. The story follows an upstanding model citizen who is the prime suspect of a murder with iron clad evidence against him. However, he also has an air-tight alibi with witnesses verifying he was somewhere else at the time of the murder. It’s a very Hitchcockian premise, and it sounds like it may not take long to see how it unfolds on the screen.

The Talisman (TBA)

This one may be a bit of a cheat since there’s nothing officially confirmed yet, but that doesn’t make us any less excited (and hopeful) to see it pan out. Steven Spielberg recently teased at an interview with EW that he’s been wanting to make an adaptation of Ọtụmọkpọ by Stephen King and Peter Straub for decades, and that it may just be getting closer to reality. Seeing a collaboration between Spielberg and King would be a dream (or nightmare) come true.
